Do you know "The Gamers" or it's sequel "The Gamers 2", produced by the indie film studio Dead Gentlemen Productions? If you are a gamer, you should know it, and even if you are not, you might check it out for its great comedy value.

However, Dead Gentlemen Productions started a new project, called "Journey Quest". It's a small fantasy adventure series, broadcasted on youtube. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVORGr2fDk8&list=PLB600313D4723E21F&index=1&feature=plpp

A scientist claims to have found a clostridia bacteria strain, that converts cellulosis to fuel.

It's sounds to incredible to be true. But if this IS true, it would have several very interesting and serious consequences: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/112697-New-Bacteria-Replaces-Need-For-Gasoline

EA's Origin Platform invades your privacy

I just found an interesting article on EA's new gaming platform Origin. And it is quite disturbing. I have to admit, that I never really read those End User License Agreements myself, but I better should do it in the future.

It seems, that EA plans to collect various data with Origin. The Terms of Service make it clear, that they are allowed to retrieve anything, like the hardware of your system, the software you have installed, the usage of that software (which is in my eyes almost the most disturbing part) and even things like your IP adress. Not agreeing to the Terms of Service means, that you cannot install Origin. Which in turn means, that you will not be able to play any of the upcoming EA titles, like Mass Effect 3 or the new Battlefield. Which would be a shame, since this would mean that after Ubisoft there would be another big game company I could no longer buy games from...

Valve is creating their own microeconomy? Why not. You've got to love Valve for their "More Hats!"-philosophy, as I call it ;-)
