My first small iPad game named "Color Souls" is now available for download in the Apple App Store. In this game you play the soul spheres. Their world is gone grey; all color, life and happiness is lost to the VOID. You have to find the color and defeat the VOID. Navigate your souls through mini-golf-like mazes and mix colors to solve various tricky puzzles.

Lol-Cats and Facial Recognition

Recognizing faces is one of the key skills the human brain is capable of. This is no surprise, since we are social beings and the reading of faces, looks an emotions is important for our daily life interactions. So it is a logical step to teach these skills to a computer, which will be beneficial for future human-machine interaction. But I have no idea where Lol-Cats have their place in this equation. A new google algorithm is capable of recognizing faces as well as human body parts and, well, cats. It is quite an amazing feat, since it was self learning and not beeing fed with initial data.

For all my concerns of a robot uprising, I am far more concerned how this technology could be used to control people.
